Learn about the Godly heritage of our founding fathers and why it is important to know this. Excellent searchable resources on the site and materials available for purchase. Learn our history and protect the freedoms thousands have died to preserve. You will be blessed to take these words to heart! I highlight one of the many articles I think should be read and considered by all. This particular resource concerns itself with revisionism in children's textbooks. Ask yourself some real, hard, truthful questions. If "A" actually happened or was said, and someone leads you/your child to believe "B" is accurate, have they really done you/your child a service? Think how missing or incorrect information has/could cause(d) some unwise decisions. What could be the implications of those decisions? Dig deep throughout this entire sight. Without a thorough understanding of the actual truth of history, is someone really any wiser? I wonder how many of our current/future leaders (in the executive, legislative or judicial branches of our government) benefit, or could benefit, from an in depth knowledge of these things? Could you benefit from this information? Some words from President Washington's farwell address (read his whole address and many, many other resources on the site):
...Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness—these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. The mere politician, equally with the pious man, ought to respect and to cherish them. A volume could not trace all their connections with private and public felicity. Let it simply be asked, "where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths which are the instruments of investigation in courts of justice?" And let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle...

Free Bible Software


Downloadable FREE Bible software from E-Sword. Excellent interface allows comparison with various translations. See the original Greek and Hebrew alongside with English (or one of many different languages-great for missionaries). Keep track of study notes, verse lists and prayer requests. You can set up a customizable Bible reading schedule. Download a version for your Pocket PC device. There is an included STEP reader and many resources. There is a link to user modules that allow an increased amount of resources.

The software is very easy to learn. There are Macromedia Flash videos and a PDF manual to assist you.

You will want to bookmark the E-Sword site and check it for updates on a regular basis.
