Downloadable FREE Bible software from E-Sword. Excellent interface allows comparison with various translations. See the original Greek and Hebrew alongside with English (or one of many different languages-great for missionaries). Keep track of study notes, verse lists and prayer requests. You can set up a customizable Bible reading schedule. Download a version for your Pocket PC device. There is an included STEP reader and many resources. There is a link to user modules that allow an increased amount of resources.

The software is very easy to learn. There are Macromedia Flash videos and a PDF manual to assist you.

You will want to bookmark the E-Sword site and check it for updates on a regular basis.

Develop a ministry
Follow the license and you can make copies for your friends, relatives, coworkers, missionaries etc. (Thought...buy 100 CD-R disks and slim cases for a total of about $50 - and burn copies of the software to the CD-R disks and then hand them out as gifts. The cost of the gift works out to about 50 cents apiece, but its value to every recipient is very high!)
